Motion Media covers EnCana Bomber letter for CTV, CBC, Global and The Canadian Press

Members of the Motion Media team were hired to cover the latest letter from the EnCana Bomber yesterday in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Our broadcast work was featured nationally on Global and CTV, province wide on CBC, and our still photos were used in many newspapers across the country care of The Canadian Press. Motion Media Photo Featured on the Cover of Today's Globe & Mail

A story from the Peace Region was featured on the front page of today's Globe & Mail. Demetrius Jones went missing Sunday morning after driving his electric car into the Peace RIver. Emergency crews found him 10km down the river from Peace Island Park where he and his family were staying. The story quickly became National news and Motion Media was there to get the shot. One year ago on Canada Day, Energeticcity.ca was launched to provide the Fort St. John area a place on the web to call our own. In the past 12 months Energeticcity.ca has been the place to go for news, sports, classifieds and community events that matter to Fort St. John.

Motion Media Covers Latest EnCana Bombing for CTV

Motion Media was hired by CTV to acquire video footage on what officials are considering the fifth attack on EnCana sites in Northeastern BC during 2008 and earlier this year. The explosion happened on July 1st at a well site, located about 8km south of Dawson Creek in a remote area. New Motion Media Team Member Dayna Manning

Project Manager and Designer Dayna Manning is the newest member of the Motion Media team. 

Dayna fell in love with Fort St. John while visiting four years ago and has called it home ever since. Originally from Stratford, Ontario, she has held a number of careers in her life from administrator, to designer, to small business owner. Most notably Dayna is a Juno nominated singer/songwritter with three records to her name. Her musical career has allowed her to travel North America, working with many notable artists and tours. Dayna is an active member of the Fort St. John community and is looking forward to bringing her project based experience and artistic eye to your individual project needs.
